( Read this, please) Can and should I sue them? if I do, what can I get?

This summer I was at a video game store with my kids and when leaving the store and putting one my kids wheelchair in the trunk and and sitted him in his car seat, my other kids where walking from the store and i took few minutes to get everybody in and ready, which seem "too long" for a "lady" and daughters who started yelling at me, first I apology (even when there were MANY other parking spots around us, but she kept insulting me and making those hand signs and moves, I tried to ignore her, and backed up my car, she followed my car and shout at me : " Get out of the car you ****" and continued with the very offensive insults and the stupid me: got so upset, got out of the car and said: "I'm not use to this, but I'm not afraid of you, "people"", just finished saying it and one of the teens jump on me and asked who did you call people? I said : you, she puched me in the jaw and grab me by the hair which I did too, and drag me about 30 feet away from my car and then the other

There is obviously going to be medical bills. I would not let it go, especially with witnesses. A lot of this is going to hinge on you getting out of your car to confront them. Anything you do to escalate the situation is not going to look good in court. This is probably why the charges did not go through.



If you advise your insurance company, they may file against them, even if there are no charges pending with the police department.



As far as filing your own lawsuit, you can generally get 3 times your medical bills for pain and suffering. You would need to discuss that with an attorney.

um, YEAH. it's called assault charges, i suggest you consult a lawyer and not let this case go.
