this in the series? im talking about right after saskes fight with garah when the attack happens and naruto and sakura chase after saske and garah. i see him find the tsunade and fight the kid with the glasses and white hair but far as I know, as of the movie the land of snow he is still a gineen.

Up until the Shippuden series, he's still a Genin! He never retook the exam. The rest of Konoha 11 except for Sasuke and Naruto retook the Chunin exam sometime when Naruto was away for 2 years with Jiraiya. Neji is a jounin now.

So, Naruto never took the exam. This is why on Shippuden episode 1 it was noted that Naruto is the oldest Genin. He's the same level as Konohamaru! LOL.

Naruto is still genin, he dont take exams again. Even in Shippuuden was an chuunin exam, but Naruto was in Sand village in that time.
